Pete wants a better camera dolly than the Hurley Dolly we made for Antarctica. This design is self-propelled, using a 24v garage door motor, which works at half speed with a 12v battery. The drive is via a printer page wheel. The platform is supported by chair castors and roller-blade wheels. The track is high pressure water supply pipe, which is flexible. If/when this works, it should be able to run on plastic water pipe and so run any length, and in curves if required. The camera is also powered from the onboard 12v battery.
