This simple video shows you how to release your your garage door from the electric opener allowing you to use your garage door manually during a power cut. Once the power supply is back on, you can re-engage the opener for automatic operation. The model shown is the Hormann Supramatic E, but it applies to the Promatic as well. The general principal is the same for most makes of electric garage door opener.
